Compliance
We design Insik with privacy and auditability in mind. The platform supports consent workflows, granular data retention, and exportability to help organizations meet their obligations.
Consent & Data Subject Rights
Enrollment captures affirmative consent for optional facial recognition. Consent can be revoked at any time; on revocation we disable recognition and purge associated templates within our documented SLA. We support access, deletion, and correction requests and provide non‑discriminatory service when these rights are used.
Data Minimization & Purpose Limitation
We only process data necessary for attendance and access control. Attendance can be recorded without biometrics (PIN, barcode, or name), and organizations can disable recognition entirely.
Retention & Deletion
Default retention periods are configurable by organization. When users depart or revoke consent, we delete biometric templates and related links and retain only the minimal operational records required by law or contract.
Export & Portability
Admins can export attendance and roster data in CSV/XLSX for audits or reporting. Exports are scoped to the active organization and respect role‑based access controls.
Regional Considerations
We provide a Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses upon request. Customers can configure data residency and keys in their cloud accounts for stricter controls.
